Inventing Reality was the first Quantum Dots album. It was all recorded in Eric's basement using Sonar 1.0 and some cheap softsynths. Fortunately some cool folks stepped up added some great parts.
Jyri Glynn played electric violin all over Inventing Reality. He plays in an awesome Seattle band The Sins. He has also been doing movie scores lately and has a cool solo project Anguisette.
Chris Gaye contributed bass to a number of tracks. He also plays in Eric's other band Almost Milwaukie. He spends time teaching kids to play bass and violin.
Ned Wahl played bass on a few tracks. He use to play in Chemlab, but now seems to have dropped off the planet.
I don't really have any bio info on these other folks, but Jake Heelan played an out of tune veena one one song. A hippy I use to work with played digereedoo on another song. A girl name Jennifer who was crashing at my house for a couple months played flute. This crazy girl I briefly dated before the awesome Michele, tried to sing on some of these tracks (before Dean did it right) - she was horrifically off-key, but I ended up processing the shit out of her vocals on a couple songs and using them. She would be pissed if she knew this.
